The Gown

Today we put on the gown
Creme coloured
Crepe material
Transparent
Water resistent

One ribbon we tie at the neck
Another we tie it at the back

Yes!
it is a special kind of shirt....
but it doesnt go with a flaring skirt!
Though
It reminded me a time of lacey curtsy
Of childhood of innocence and beauty
Happiness!
In white lace embroidered sock
We.....
were actually preparing for a shock!
Of splurting blood
Post motor vehicle accident
A man
With one whole amputated arm.
In that incident!
